​Middle School
​Choir

Our Middle School Choir rehearses twice a week. In rehearsal, students learn to read music through sight singing and develop strong, healthy singing voices while learning challenging repertoire.

Middle School
​Concert Band

Our Middle School Concert Band meets twice a week as a full ensemble and weekly in small group sectionals. Students are playing a variety of instruments from the brass, woodwind, and percussion families.

​Choir

Our 3rd through 5th Grade Choir meets after school twice a week and works on a variety of music including folk songs, pop songs, show tunes, and concert repertoire.

Beginning Concert Band

By 4th and 5th grade, our students have to opportunity to begin learning concert band instruments. In the beginning band, students meet once a week in sectionals and as they develop their basic techniques, they will begin to meet weekly as a full ensemble.

Middle School
​Modern Band

Our Middle School Modern Band students learn to analyze, perform, and create music using modern band repertoire and instrumentation. This includes, but is not limited to, keys, drums, bass, guitar, ukulele and voice.

Middle School Jazz Band

The newest ensemble to be offered as a middle school elective at PCS, the Jazz Band offers students an opportunity to explore jazz theory, improvisation and to perform standards. Students could perform a variety of instruments in this ensemble, including, but not limited to, trumpet, trombone, sax, drums, guitar, bass, keys, and vocals.
